Mentors spend a hour each week with a child aged 4 – 15 that has a parent incarcerated at a state or federal prison. The Catholic Family Center provides support services to family members including: referrals for mental health services, teen support groups, food/clothing and preventive daycare.

Transportation to State Prisons:
Free Monthly Trips for Rochester families to most prisons throughout the state.
Your loved one in prison must request the paper work from a Prison guard or counselor.
The paper work takes at least a few weeks and tickets are mailed to you along with the date, time and location for the trip.

Free weekend retreats for adult women who have a relative or friend who is or has been incarcerated. Women ex-offenders are also invited to attend. Presenters for the retreat team include local Christian clergy but are nondenominational. Retreats are held at a local retreat center or camp. Retreats begin on Friday nights and conclude Sunday afternoon. Funds to cover child care assistance may be provided on a case by case basis.
