Matthew House is a not- for- profit, non-denominational comfort care home. Our mission is to provide a home for people with terminal illness to die, in peace and dignity, and a comfortable setting for loved ones to be with them. Matthew House is open to all residents of Cayuga County, Skaneateles and Jordan-Elbridge. Matthew House receives no public funding or insurance reimbursement and is entirely dependent upon contributions. We thank you for your generosity!

Each session uses a DVD, a discussion, and some workbook questions/suggestions to help people deal with their grief. Support is available during these meetings. There are thirteen planned sessions in this program. New people can join us anytime as each session is complete in itself. The group breaks after thirteen weeks, and re-forms. Please call church to be sure a session is currently meeting.

That’s the reason for Grief Share, a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close.
